LIBERTY OF LONDON : EMILY BELLE Emily Belle is arriving in the shop next week! We are really excited to curate a really thoughtful and classic collection of prints in the shop again. We're focussing on Liberty of London to start. Emily Belle is a celebration of botanicals including daisies, marguerites, peonies, and cornflowers. Drawn in an outline and arranged over a plain coloured ground, the soft, fine lines and delicate tonal qualities are designed to coordinate smoothly with a wide variety of Liberty prints from their vast archive – for a seamless mix-and-match effect.
MERCHANT & MILLS : JUST ARRIVED! Our delivery of Merchant & Mills just arrived in the shop late yesterday and we didn't fully get to unbox the order. I'll be working on photographing these gorgeous new fabrics and then cutting all the preorders over the weekend. I just quickly snapped this photo to give you a quick peek at how great everything looks together.
VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS and EVENTS The Nevis Walking Skirt was one of my favourite new patterns of this year. I really loved all the details of this skirt, especially the cute tiny ticket pocket and full hem facing. I can't wait to make another one in class with you.
