The Fall Season is off to the races. We got slammed with many fun deliveries this week. Boxes and bolts of fabric are everywhere in the shop at the moment.

We're less than a month away from reaching our NINETEENTH anniversary. It's making me feel a bit emotional. I've given myself a 30 day challenge to open up about what my hopes & dreams are for the future of the workroom over on Instagram. RESTOCKED Kona Solids The Kona shelves are feeling extra full after receiving over sixty bolts to fill out our Kona rainbow. We haven't had time to start cutting & restocking our curated bundles just yet, but you'll see those pop up over the weekend.
Kona Colour Society : Wisteria & Mariposa We just built and posted the final two bundles from our 2025 Kona Colour Society collection - Mariposa was the very first bundle we created for this colour club. We paired this bundle with a lesson in Simultaneous Contrast - the phenomenon where our perception of a colour is influenced by the colour it is sitting beside.
Wisteria was our fourth bundle of the series and featured purples to deep greens which tied to our lesson in Analagous Colour - shades that sit next to each other on the colour wheel.
We had so much fun putting together this series of colour palettes and now you can grab any of these bundles for your next project - available in fat quarter and half metres.
NEW! SEVENBERRY PETITE GARDEN I'm always delighted when a collection is even better in person. The new Sevenberry Petite Garden collection is truly so sweet. It has a very beautiful vintage feeling in the colours and the hand drawn design. This is also a cotton lawn and it is very lightweight. I can't wait to see how soft it gets after washing. I'll definitely be using it for a garment as well as a lining or pocket details too. We also build a full metre, half metre and fat quarter set if you want a piece of the whole collection.
VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS and EVENTS I'm about to schedule our final batch of workshops for 2026 and wanted to review what we've accomplished for ourHandmade Wardrobe Year program - students who got full access to every garment workshop for the year and so far we've worked on twenty garments together! It has been a very special experience to consistently sew with a steady group of sewists every week.
